If the ordered car is unavailable, the rental company has the right to replace it with a vehicle of the same class while keeping the price agreed in the booking.<\/p>\n<h2>Documents<\/h2>\n<p>The renter must be at least <strong>18 years old<\/strong> and hold a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>When renting a car, the following must be presented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a valid driver\u2019s license;<\/li>\n<li>an identity document (ID card or passport);<\/li>\n<li>a suitable bank card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note!<\/strong> Maestro, Revolut, Paysera, and other prepaid cards are not accepted.<\/p>\n<p>The validity of a driver\u2019s license in Estonia can be checked on the website of the Transport Administration.<\/p>\n<h2>Payment<\/h2>\n<p>Payment for car rental services must be made in advance before the start of the rental period:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in cash;<\/li>\n<li>by bank card;<\/li>\n<li>by bank transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Payment by bank card is possible regardless of location. For this purpose, we use a mobile payment terminal.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of a booking, the lessor has the right to require a prepayment of <strong>20% of the total rental fee<\/strong>. This prepayment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.<\/p>\n<h2>Security deposit<\/h2>\n<p>When renting a car, a security deposit of <strong>200.00 euros<\/strong> must be paid, which will be reserved on the renter\u2019s credit or debit card.<\/p>\n<p>The security deposit will be released upon return of the car, provided there are no claims, within approximately <strong>1\u20135 business days<\/strong>. In exceptional cases, the lessor has the right to request a higher-than-usual security deposit.<\/p>\n<p>The security deposit is used to cover possible damages, fines, or other costs.<\/p>\n<h2>Vehicle condition<\/h2>\n<p>The rental car is handed over to the renter washed and in technically sound condition.<\/p>\n<p>When receiving the car, we recommend inspecting it carefully and requesting that all damages, including scratches, be recorded in the rental agreement. Otherwise, the renter may be held liable for damage that existed on the vehicle before the start of the rental period.<\/p>\n<p>Cars are rented out with a full tank of fuel unless otherwise stated in the agreement. The car must be returned with the same amount of fuel.<\/p>\n<h2>Insurance<\/h2>\n<p>The renter\u2019s deductible is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>500.00 euros<\/strong> in the event of an accident;<\/li>\n<li><strong>15% of the vehicle\u2019s value<\/strong> in the event of theft.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The reduced accident deductible service <strong>Super CASCO<\/strong> allows the deductible to be reduced to <strong>190, 65, or 0 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Mileage limit<\/h2>\n<p>For rental periods of <strong>1\u201329 days<\/strong>, the rental fee includes unlimited mileage within Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>For rental periods of <strong>30+ days<\/strong>, the rental fee includes <strong>5,000 km per month<\/strong>. Exceeding the limit incurs an additional charge of <strong>\u20ac0.12\/km<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Area of use<\/h2>\n<p>Driving the vehicle outside Estonia is not allowed without written permission.<\/p>\n<p>Outside Estonia, the following mileage limit applies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>400 km per day<\/strong> for passenger cars;<\/li>\n<li>but no more than <strong>5,000 km per month<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exceeding the limit incurs an additional charge of <strong>\u20ac0.12\/km<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Vehicle return<\/h2>\n<p>One rental day is <strong>24 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If the vehicle is returned more than <strong>59 minutes<\/strong> after the agreed time without the rental company\u2019s consent, an additional rental day will be charged.<\/p>\n<p>The renter is obliged to return the vehicle at the agreed time and to the agreed location.<\/p>\n<p>If the renter fails to return the vehicle at the agreed time, the lessor has the right to retrieve the vehicle personally, and all related costs shall be borne by the renter.<\/p>\n<p>The lessor has the right to charge <strong>double the rental fee for each delayed day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Parking fines and violations<\/h2>\n<p>The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking fines, and other violations incurred during the rental period and is obliged to inform the lessor of them immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The lessor has the right to forward the renter\u2019s details to the relevant authorities or third parties for the collection of fines.<\/p>\n<h2>Other terms<\/h2>\n<p>If a traffic accident occurs and the situation requires it, contact emergency services at <strong>112<\/strong>. You must also always contact our information number <a href=\"tel:+37253333000\">+372 5462 0000<\/a> so that we can assess the situation and provide further instructions.<\/p>\n<p>As a rule, a traffic accident must be documented on site, the appropriate form must be completed, the other party\u2019s contact details must be taken if the other party is identifiable, and the necessary signatures must be collected.<\/p>\n<p>The following are prohibited:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>smoking in the car;<\/li>\n<li>eating in the car;<\/li>\n<li>transporting animals;<\/li>\n<li>using the vehicle for illegal activities;<\/li>\n<li>using the vehicle while under the influence;<\/li>\n<li>violating traffic regulations;<\/li>\n<li>participating in races or tests;<\/li>\n<li>driving on roads not intended for normal traffic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vaikebussirent24.ee<\/strong> reserves the right not to rent out a car without giving a reason.<\/p>\n<p>These terms and the general terms and conditions of the rental agreement apply to the renter when renting a vehicle.
