Documents
The renter must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence.
When renting a vehicle, the following must be presented:
- a valid driving licence;
- an identity document (ID card or passport);
- a suitable bank card.
Note! Maestro, Revolut, Paysera and other prepaid cards are not accepted.
The validity of a driving licence in Estonia can be checked on the Transport Administration website.
Payment
Payment for car rental services is made in advance before the start of the rental period:
- in cash;
- by bank card;
- by bank transfer.
Payment by bank card is possible regardless of location. We use a mobile payment terminal for this purpose.
In case of a reservation, the lessor has the right to require a prepayment of 20% of the total rental fee. This prepayment is non-refundable upon cancellation of the reservation.
Pickup and Return
Rental vehicle pickup and return takes place by prior arrangement. Prior booking is required via the website or by phone: +372 5462 0000.
If an order is placed less than 24 hours before the start of the rental, the availability of the requested vehicle class and timely confirmation or rejection cannot be guaranteed. The rental company has the right to substitute the ordered vehicle with a vehicle of the same class if unavailable, at the price agreed in the order.

Vehicle Return
The rental day is 24 hours long.
If the vehicle is returned more than 59 minutes after the agreed time without the rental company’s consent, an additional rental day will be charged.
The renter is obliged to return the vehicle at the agreed time and to the agreed location.
If the renter does not return the vehicle at the agreed time, the lessor has the right to retrieve the vehicle themselves, and all related costs shall be borne by the renter.
The lessor has the right to charge double the rental fee for each day of delay.
Vehicle Condition
The rental car is handed over to the renter in a clean and technically sound condition.
Upon receiving the vehicle, we recommend inspecting it carefully and requesting that all damage, including scratches, be recorded in the rental agreement. Otherwise, the renter may be held responsible for damage that existed before the rental period began.
Vehicles are rented out with a full fuel tank, unless otherwise specified in the agreement. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel.
Security Deposit
When renting a vehicle, a security deposit of €300 is required, which is blocked on the renter’s credit or debit card.
The deposit is released upon vehicle return if there are no claims, within approximately 1–5 business days. The lessor has the right to require a higher deposit than usual in exceptional cases.
The security deposit is used to cover any damage, fines, or other costs.
Parking Fines and Violations
The renter is fully responsible for all traffic and parking fines and other violations incurred during the rental period and is obliged to notify the lessor immediately.
The lessor has the right to pass the renter’s details to the relevant authorities or third parties for the collection of fines.
Mileage Limit
The rental fee for a 1–29 day rental period includes unlimited mileage within Estonia.
The rental fee for a 30+ day rental period includes 5,000 km per month. Exceeding the limit incurs an additional charge of €0.12/km.
Usage Area
Driving outside Estonia is not permitted without written consent.
Other Terms
If the vehicle is involved in a traffic accident and the situation requires it, contact emergency services at 112. You must also always contact us at our info number +372 5462 0000 so we can assess the situation and provide further instructions.
In general, a traffic accident must be documented on-site: fill in the relevant form, collect the contact details of the other party if they are identifiable, and gather the required signatures.
It is prohibited to:
- smoke in the vehicle;
- eat in the vehicle;
- transport animals;
- use the vehicle for illegal activities;
- drive the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- violate traffic regulations;
- participate in competitions or tests;
- drive on roads not intended for regular traffic.
Vaikebussirent24.ee reserves the right to refuse renting a vehicle without giving a reason.
By renting the vehicle, the renter is subject to these terms and the general terms and conditions of the rental agreement. In case of conflict, these terms shall prevail.
